WHITE CHILI

1 1/4 lb Chicken or Turkey (diced or shredded)

1 can White Beans

1 can White Shoepeg Corn

2 cans Green Chili Peppers (diced)

2 cups Wild Rice

1 White Onion (diced)

2 cloves Garlic (minced)

1 tbl Cumin

1 tbl White Pepper

1 tsp Ginger (minced)

1 tbl Olive Oil

Chicken Broth

What is nice is to make a chicken/turkey broth, shred the meat, etc. (But do what you gotta do.)

Sauté the onion along with the White Pepper and Ginger.

Add the garlic towards the end of the process (trust your senses).

Add the hot broth to this mixture along with the rest of the ingredients.

By the time the rice has cooked to the right texture the other ingredients should have sufficiently lent and blended their flavors to the soup.

If you are a cilantro fan feel free to add some. After all, "White" is a figure of speech, here---Accents permitted.

For an interesting twist add some clam juice or some sesame oil.
